“Teresa is a leader we can trust to get things done. I’m glad she’s my city councilor”.
I was raised to value fairness and the importance of hard work. I currently serve on City Council and as the Vice-Chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party. I am also on the Board of the Carmel – Clay Republican Club. My community involvement naturally sparked my desire to serve on the Carmel City Council.
I graduated from Carmel High School and Virginia Intermont College where I played soccer and ran track and cross country. I am a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Parish. I am the daughter of Paul Ayers and the late Cheryl Ayers.
“Teresa will help build a more resilient Carmel.”
I will work to maintain our property values and ensure good planning as a member of the Council’s Land Use and Special Studies Committee. As Carmel continues to grow, I will advocate for a balance between responsible growth and conservative fiscal policy as well as keeping public safety a top priority.
